Sandbox

From one machine to the whole supply chain

The free Sandbox runs in your browser. Every number on screen comes from the ReliaSim engine.

It’s split by scale. Start with one machine’s stops, then a bottling line, then a plant, then a network of plants and warehouses. Each tier also has an AI agent beside it that answers from the model’s own engine runs. If you’d rather ask from Claude or ChatGPT, connect your own assistant.

Beat the Bottleneck

Beat the Bottleneck: the bottling line game

Every machine on this bottling line runs at the same speed, yet it delivers only 54% of what it could.

Fix one problem or add buffers, and ReliaSim runs your line ten times. Then see what Lean, TPM and TOC would have done.

The eight bottling-line models

The Lines tier holds eight curated models of the same real bottling line, across two tracks (Constraint-Level rollups and LEDS-Level drill-downs) and four complexity steps. The engine ran each model once and saved the results. All eight predict the same throughput, but they disagree about the cause.

ModelWhat it shows
1 ConstraintWhole line as one node. It gets the same throughput as 5 Constraints, so rolling up loses none of the prediction.
5 ConstraintsEach machine as its own node. You can spot the bottleneck by stage, but interrupts are still rolled up to one Weibull each.
+ ConvertersAdds bottles → cases → pallets bundling, which changes the dynamics and reports output in pallets.
+ Buffer OptionsThree inline buffers and a sensitivity sweep (Multi Run), showing when buffers help and when they don’t.
LEDS · 1 ConstraintSame plant, 36 named failure modes from real LEDS data. Capper_Upper Plow Area dominates at 20%.
LEDS · 5 ConstraintsThe full 2×2 hierarchy, per machine and per failure mode.
LEDS · + ConvertersConverter topology with the LEDS drill-down. The Capper is still the bottleneck, but the output structure changes.
LEDS · + Buffer OptionsLEDS drill-down plus the buffer trade-off sweep (Multi Run), showing where to invest at the machine level.
